Welcome to the annual International Youth Pro-Life Conference.
To be pro-life is to believe that every human life is of equal value, regardless of physical or mental characteristics or particular stage of life development.
The conference is run by SPUC (Society for the Protection of Unborn Children). We are a pro-life campaigning organisation founded to uphold the right to life of each individual from conception to natural death, in particular the most vulnerable in our society: the sick, the elderly, the disabled and the unborn.
SPUC endorses the recognition of the world community set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which lays down the ‘Right to Life’ as a fundamental human right, and the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Child that states the child “needs special safeguards and care, including appropriate legal protection, before as well as after birth.”
