All rooms will be allocated on a 2-3 persons per room basis. Allocation will be done by SPUC staff but please let us know if you have any specific requests as to who you wish to share with. We will do our best to accomodate requests.


How To Get There

Train


The nearest train station to the Bearmore Hotel is Dalmuir. Trains are at frequent intervals from Glasgow Central and take approximately 25 minutes.

Directions from Dalmuir Station: Head out of the station onto Park Rd. Turn right onto Duntocher Rd. Take a left at Dumbarton Rd.  Turn right at Beardmore St.  Continue down to the roundabout and take a left. The Beardmore Hotel will be directly ahead of you. If you wish to get a taxi from the station, you can call Clydebank Taxis on 0141 941 1101.


Bus


The nearest bus stop is on Dumbarton Road, which is also just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Regular services run towards Glasgow and Dumbarton, Balloch and Helensburgh. From Glasgow city centre you can take the First Glasgow Bus Nos: 66, 204, 205, 215, 216


By Air


If flying into Glasgow International Airport, frequent bus services operate into Glasgow City Centre, near Glasgow Central, where you can then get the train to Dalmuir. However, the easier option may simply be to get a taxi from the airport. The Beardmore Hotel is approximately 15 minutes drive from Glasgow International Airport.  There is a taxi rank directly outside the terminal building.


If flying into Glasgow Prestwick, then you need to get the train from there to Glasgow Central. The Prestwick International Airport train station is annexed to the airport. Services run approximately every 30 minutes and the journey takes 45 minutes. When you arrive at Glasgow Central, you can then get the train to Dalmuir and follow the directions above.
